- Less than 1% of primary liver tumours

- 50% of angiosarcomas are associated with previous exposure to a chemical carcinogenic agent

Diagnosis
- large solitary mass or as multinodular lesions.
Treatment
- rapidly growing and carry a poor prognosis, with an estimated median survival of 6 months among all patients.
- When localized, surgery is the mainstay of treatment for primary liver angiosarcomas and carries a 5-year OS of approximately 30%
