Histology
- Columnar epithelium that secretes mucin
- Ovarian-like stroma (can stain positive for estrogen and progesteron recptos)
Risk
- 10:1 female
- Average age 45
Typical imaging
- Unilocular or septated cyst ± wall calcifications (egg shell sign)
- Solid component, if present, may suggest malignancy
CEA in FNA
