Risk

  • More common in Women
  • Young non-White females around the 2nd and 3rd decades of life (the “daughter” tumour)

Histology

  • Beta catenin (98%): aberrant nuclear expression
  • Usually in the body and tail
  • Often large

Imaging

  • Capsule with hetorgeonous internal components (solid and cystic components due to haemorrhagic degeneration)
  • Calcification and solid areas

Management

  • Possible malignant therefore resect
