Operations for ectopic pregnancy

• Laparoscopy and tube salvage
  • Salpingostomy (leave tube open) or Salpingotomy (close it)
    • Salpingotomy
      • Anti-mesenteric incision
      • Remove the ectopic
      • Suture close with 3-0 PDS
• Laparoscopy and salpingectomy
  • For recurrent ectopic on same side, rupture or abn tube
• Laparotomy
  • Unstable and adhesions
