- Argument for low threshold for exploration

- Concern about testicular viability
- Testicular mass
- Testicular rupture
- Expanding haematoma
- Severe pain
- Penetrating injury

- Explore scrotum (both sides), evacuate haematoma, debride necrotic tissue, close tunica albuginea, can leave Penrose drain
