- Fibres converge medially towards lateral margin of Psoas
- Pass out the Iliac Fossa beneath the lateral part of Inguinal Ligament
- Insertion:
- Psoas tendon below the Lesser Trochanter
- Iliac Fascia
- Strong fascia covering muscle
- Attached to bone at margins of the muscle and Inguinal Ligament
- Continuous with Psoas Fascia
- Forms a floor to the abdominal cavity
- Serves for the attachment of Parietal Peritoneum
- Nerve Supply:
- Femoral Nerve (L2, L3) in Iliac Fossa
