- Arises lateral to the Vertebral Artery from the upper surface of the Subclavian Artery
- Divides into:
- Inferior thyroid artery
- Ascending cervical artery
- 60% off the inferior thyroid artery and 30% off the thyrocervical trunk
- Suprascapular artery
- Transverse cervical artery
